(Toledo, Ohio) — Storms drew a line down the middle of the nation Tuesday, dumping snow to the north, spawning damaging tornadoes to the south and dropping heavy rain on parts of Ohio still recovering from major floods months ago.

Yeah I've got in laws in TN and they were hiding in storm shelters, and they just reported tornado warnings in New Orleans a few minutes ago. This sure is strange for this time of year. This has been a weird winter...more snow and consecutively really cold days in a row than I can remember in IL!

This winter has been bad. But it reminds me of Genesis 12. We got 6 of more snow last night. I am waiting for the snow plows. And also waiting for Mr Gore come and plow this Global warming junk up.

All this bad weather has me concerned for my brother-in-law and his wife. They live in Baton Rouge and her Mother died Monday night. The funeral will be here in Illinois and it appears that they're planning to drive up here today. It's a very long drive. I'm hoping they'll come to their senses and fly and that their trip will be uneventful. It's sad enough that my SIL lost her Mother. I would hate for any harm to come to either of them. Must do a lot of praying.
