This is a free online book with regards to the New Age Movement and how they are moving to the "Age of Aquarius", and how people, especially undiscerning christians can be roped in to follow another gospel and another Jesus.

I just posted a link to an article by Warren Smith, who wrote that book - Warren Smith Post (http://rr-bb.com/showpost.php?p=279437&postcount=25)

A lot of Christians are taken in by New Age thinking.

Man, do I know that.....and it is very attractive....you get to make up your own deities and pretty much do anything you want...as long as it doesn't harm anyone else of course. In reality, it's but evil, very evil.

While I was in that world, one of the things I wondered about were those who would claim that they were Christian pagans. Of course they really weren't, they were just pagans. But, unfortunately, way too many fall for that.

The ones we need to worry about as Christians are the younger people who can get drawn to this quite easily and also the adults who feel they have been disenfranchised by Christianity.

This, from Smith's writing, pretty much sums it all up:
The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.

If you really want to see how similar and utterly nauseating these dudes are, you can access their website directly.

This link goes to an online book written by a Methodist Reverend (of all people - he should know better). You will see that they even believe in Christ's return - but obviously not the true Christ, but the counterfeit one, only they don't know it. So they tell people to be joyful (almost like being happy in being led astray and being deceived). And of course the "hidden esotericism" in the Bible (yah, don't believe it) and of course a whole load of other merchandizing of snake oil and vomit, which one shouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole and a health inspector on the other end. (Please Note : This is Benjamin Creme's website, a well-known New Ager who communicates with a Master - i.e., a demon, if not the devil himself! So please read with CAUTION!!)

I probably do not need to say this, but... not all ordained ministers in the established churches are genuine believers. Many will be false prophets. Test everything they tell you against the bible.

not all ordained ministers in the established churches are genuine believers.

You can say that again. Once they're through with studying at the Theological Seminaries (also known as Cemetaries) most of them get a bad case of tunnel vision in that they can only see what they've been taught - which isn't the entire truth. Personally I see them as puppets, with the devil pulling the strings. Was reading a survey they did on the clergy - most of them don't believe Jesus is the only way to God. The reason why I call them puppets on strings is because they are mostly governed by Executive Boards - most people will see this as the Nicolaitan system - where the clergy rule and abuse, but it's actually the rule of the Laity - after all, that's what "Laodicean" mean - rule by the Laity. So if any of them aren't happy with the Shepherd - he gets the chop (figuratively speaking, of course) - it's what the Laity want - and the Laity love to have their ears tickled.

I've come across one instance of this in the past. A friend of mine who is a member of the local Baptist Church (Open Baptist) was a member of the Church Board - they weren't happy with their Minister/Pastor so they voted him out and they brought in an ear tickler who put them on the road to the "Purpose Driven Life" and all sorts of other questionable teachings. Now no-one questions anything and the word "dominion" rears it's head quite often, and they're all "happy".
