tornadoes

hello. i live in the south where the tornadoes hit. it was horrible and i have never witnessed anything like it in my whole entire life. im 23. I thank God for protecting me and watching out for me and my whole entire family while the storms were happening. i knew the Lord was with me but i was still frightned and terrified. i did lots of praying. the tornadoes did not hit my neighorhood exactly but they hit two cities that are very close to where i live. on the news broadcast tuesday night the weathermen and newscasters kept apologizing for not playing American Idol. as much as i love that show it did not matter to me that night. i only cared about my life and my family and friends lives. lots of family live in tn where the tornadoes were really bad. lots of people lost their homes and everything they had. I thank the Lord that all my family safe and they didnt lose anything they had. stuff can be replaced but your friends, family, and loved ones can't. Thanks be to God.

Praise God for His protection. I'm glad you and your family are fine.
Many years ago (almost 23 years now) Tornadoes went through our area.
A town about 8 miles from us was hit hard. Several of my friends lost their
homes and one friend's 5 year old son was killed. It was a very traumatic
time. Thank God you and your family stayed safe!! :hug

Oh, yes, tirani, we must praise God for mercifully looking after us ! We're also instructed to praise God in all situations--the good as well as the bad. While we thank God for bringing us through the storm, we look around and are touched with sadness for those who didnot fare as well. We trust God in assurance that "all things work together for the good of them who love God...." and we go on confident He is with us always even during our darkest hours. I thank God He kept you and your family safe as He also kept us. I am also praying for the others who have lost so much this day.:pray
