Well it looks like junior has found a winning team. He looked strong out there. Tony Stewart (even though I do not like him) also looked like he will do just fine in the Toyota.

Did any one else notice how stable the Car of Tomorrow is? It looks as though there will be less crashes with more drivers holding it together.

Any thoughts on the race and the upcoming NASCAR season?

You're right, LSU, Jr did look strong. R u a bowtie fan? I'm a Ford and Rousch guy and I like Gibbs. I can pull a little more for Stewart now that he doesn't drive a Chevy. Well see how the race goes but it should be fun. It looks like typical Daytona weather, cloudy and humid, maybe a little rain in the morning. The twin 150s r always fun to see where the field starts and who wrecks into a BU car. Can't tell ya what I think of the season yet, not w/COT and the unknown Toyota factor. I'm gonna try to catch one of the races here in FTW TX this year! My 8yo son loves NASCAR but has yet to be at the track, so we gotta go this yr!----Mike

Yep. I am a Chevy guy. I have always followed Jeff Gordon. We live in Nashville, so we do not get to see the "big boys". My 9 year old loves NASCAR as well. We are going to the Pepsi 300 in March. Third Day is performing after the race, so it should be a fun day. One day I will venture out to see a Cup Race.

Boogity boogity let's go racing boys..........and the checkered flag goes to none other than Dale Ernhardt. Ugh......I'm just not a Dale Ernhardt fan. Sad that his dad died but I've never warmed up to "Jr's" style of racing. Unfortunately, this year, with a better team and a better car, he'll probably win his share of races.
I live about 40 minutes from Daytona but it's been many years since I've gone to a race in person.
I like #24 and #20. I think I'm going to root for Tony "Smoke" Stewart this year. I like his fighting spirit.
I don't get into the Chevy vs Ford or Toyota thing. Heck these cars barely resemble anything that Ford , Chevy, or Toyota turns out on the assembly line anyway.
Here's to a safe and fun NASCAR year. Maybe the Chase will actually be exciting this year.... Boogity boogity...........

He two timed Brooke? Was that his ex-wife or something? I never really got that whole story of what happened. I was kind of hoping he would maintain his witness through the whole thing.

It is just additional reasons for me to prefer the 'good guys' that run w/Rousch. I used to like Gordon but really started going towards Martin and the Labonte Bros b/c of their integrity. Matty and Biffle are stand-up guys also! 5 days and a wake-up til Daytona!!!:yeah

Man that is too bad about Gordon. I like Carl Edwards too. He seems like a nice guy.

Yea. I listen to Third Day often. They are one of my favorite Christian Bands. They have that Southern Rock / Folk sound.
