Does it seem to anyone else that the Song of Solomon is sequential? Every time I read it I seems like it is spelling out the order of events.
Maybe I’m way out there on this one (I can’t seem to find other teaching on this, so I may be way out in left field), but it seems like the first part of the book (Songs Chapters 2:1 to 2:17) deals with those resurrected at Christ’s resurrection (Mathew 27:52 to 27:53).
The next part (Songs Chapter 3:1 to 3:11) seems to discuss the rapture of the Bride. The honeymoon could be described in Chapters 4:1 to 4:16.
The following part (Songs Chapter 5:2 to 6:13) seems to discuss the Friend. It seems like 3:1 and 5:1 align at the same time, with 3:1 being the Brides fate and 5:1 being the Friends fate. It seems like Songs Chapter 8:1 to 8:7 discuss what happens to the Friend.
Then, it seems like Songs Chapters 8:8 to 8:9 discuss those saved during the millennium.
Does anyone else see this? :)
