Can't recommend it enough. Comprehensive, detailed, scriptural look at what all we can expect to see and experience in our after-lives, and beyond with Christ. You wouldn't believe how much the Bible actually addresses the topic until you pick up this reference and see it all compiled in one place.

Especially comforting for those have lost loved ones.

I've read a number of Randy Alcorn books and they are all excellent. I'll have to get this one.

Praying for you, brother! When will we see you out here in Cali? Is that still on the horizon?

So glad to hear such great praise for the book by Alcorn. It's more than official...I really need to get that book. A Jewish brother in the Lord here in OC has told me about it on a couple different occasions...and I guess I really need to pick it up!

Blessings...

I read it...I couldn't get through it. Although my dad also read it, and he said if you make it halfway through you've pretty much read it all cause he just repeats himself. Which did explain why I lost interest (that's not normal for me.) It did have a lot of good info in the first few chapters but when he started talking about taking meaningful pictures your kids have drawn and other significant things from this earth with you to heaven I sort of thought...mmm...I don't think so and lost interest.

I loved it.

I think I'm going to go check it out from the library again. I read it about a year ago and I was so encouraged by it then.
