Hya all...:wave
I don't post here much, Im kind of a lurker, but enjoy my time here learning with you all, and praying with you all. I recently became a member of my church which was toally Awesome! But thats not why Im here.

Last wednesday my MIL had a Stroke. I love this woman with all my heart and soul. She is the only Mother Ive had for the last 17 years. We were all devistated when it happened.

Thank the Lord in Heaven that the stroke was small! Thank you Lord for watching over her and providing my family with an opportunity to spend more time with her! Thank you Lord for providing me comfort, through your Word, and for giving me the courage to stay strong for my family!
Thank you Lord...Praise be to God forever and ever! :yeah

When I went to church that Sunday after her Stroke, I spoke up with a prayer and a praise. I asked for prayer for my MIL, and Praised the Lord for making it a small Stroke...then, I fell apart. I stayed strong all week, but when I was with my Christian Borthers and Sisters, I just started to cry. I felt the fool for crying so, but the wonderful women in my church, hugged me, prayed over me, and we all Praised Jesus...:pray :yeah :pray
Thank you Lord for leading me to a Church that is filled with such wonderful people!! :yeah
I am truly grateful Lord...

Everyone have a blessed week!

So happy the Lord is working mightily in the lives of you and your family and for His hand of protection on your MIL. :hug

Colo, so happy for you that this didn't turn out to be a 'big' one, although even the small strokes can be upsetting, too. Anything cardiovascular can be kinda scary. My dad had a small stroke and lived many more years with no residual impairment. I hope that your mil does well, too.
God bless you, dear, for being such a devoted daughter-in-law and for honoring her in such a wonderful way. :hug
