Find Freedom

Children come into the world everyday, totally dependent for their needs
They have no choices who their parents are or where their environmental path leads
All with the potential to grow & prosper...like well watered seeds
So WHAT could possibly make someone reach out and violate a child?
Could it be perhaps because YOU, YOURSELF were once defiled?
The rage and anger of YOUR situation, to a list of your own crimes have compiled
Do you fully enjoy that feeling of power & superiority over someone small?
That you can do whatever YOU want, and they can't hurt you at all?
Your conscience isn't affected because you are "hidden" behind and emotional wall?
Does gratification really replace the love you were denied?
Erase those lonely sad years and the childhood tears you cried?
Wouldn't YOUR life have been different if only one adult had truly tried?
Could it be you're too insecure to function with an adult?
Be laughed at, ridiculed...why take a chance on that result
Some say it's just the way you were made, that it's not your fault
That a crazy wild mutant gene somehow went astray
Must be the parent's fault, liberal professors & psychologist say
Let someone else be responsible, at THEIR door, guilt must lay
Now, this is a LIE of Satan! Because he wants all men's lives to be destroyed & undone
Thinking if he can sully a child's mind & body, the battle for their soul will be won
But God the Creator NEVER created a child to be a sexual object for anyone!
And, if you WERE misused, that is not a license to take THEIR innocence away
WHAT in your life makes you think, for your pain, some child should pay
Was it so terrible you couldn't resolve it any other way?
Thus, the circle of hurt, shame and mistrust just continued to grow
To say "IT STOPS here with ME!", no one seems to have the courage to show
And now it's lead to prison and a branded name...an all time low
But I'm here to tell you, that's NOT how your life's story has to end
You can find "freedom"... the Good News of the Gospel I'd like to send
You CAN trade your past for a NEW future, old pain & heartache CAN mend
The state of your soul CAN be wiped spotless and clean
You need not live the rest of your life in that terrible mental "latrine"
A forbidden ces-pool of lustful desires, to which inner demons caused you to lean
The first step is to know...ALL mankind has sinned & fallen short
But that ALL sin can be FORGIVEN is the Bible's welcome report
"How" & "Why" "Could anyone actually forgive Me?" might be your sarcastic retort
"I hated my tormentor, I'm sure my victims hate me as well"
"There is no hope for anyone who...into THIS lifestyle...fell"
"So what good news could you possibly have to tell?"
Well, the answer is...Because God the Father saw the wickedness man had done
LOVED US ALL enough to send from Heaven, His ONLY begotten Son
To DIE FOR US!! Our punishment...HE'd take, our freedom from Satan...HE'd won
John Newton wrote Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that SAVED a WRETCH like me
I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see
You too can break those controlling chains, you too can be set free
All you have to do is ACCEPT by faith, this free gift of God's Grace
For ONLY BY GRACE are you saved! No one "deserves" to have Christ take their place
So be free of sin's deadly judgement...REPENT & CONFESS!!...a new life embrace
Find out what REAL LOVE is all about at long last
Unconditional love, sacrificial love, love that can change your past
A love that forgives, a love that is faithful, a love that will last
Jesus said " Behold, I make all things new"...what other decision can you afford?
Cry Out!!, surrender your heart & mind...with the Heavenly Father, be in one accord
For the Bible says "There is NO MORE condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus our Lord"
So you see, there is HOPE until that last breath is taken
Will you accept His pardon? Your shame be forsaken
Because it's YOUR choice...will it be Heaven or Hell in which you awaken?
