Behind the Green Glass

My wife learned this one at HS camp last month...it took me much consternation to figure it out...try to figure out what goes behind the green glass...If you figure it out...add to it before revealing the answer...make others have to figure it out....

Glass is behind the Green glass...but metal is not.
The spoon is behind the Green Glass...but the fork is not.
the door is...but the window is not....
