I have a friend who has a ministry at the local indoor flea mkt passing out tracts and witnessing on the weekends(he also trained me in the WOTM). Saturday I got a distress call from him saying that he was overwhelmed by the amount of folks wanting to hear the gospel. I said, "I'm there, Dude!" and ran out there as soon as I could.

It was awesome! We had many divine encounters. Two fellows , in particular, that I had witnessed to were under deep conviction. It was beautiful!

You are on your way to Greatness

It's never about our greatness....but man what a great felling to be there when someone gives thier life to Christ and passes from death to life. It's an honor to have a God that lets you see that...

I know the agony though. Luckly, in the last 2 years God drew a handful of people into my circle that will witness on the streets on a regular basis. I didn't do well on my own, but with a group always got more courage and encouragement.

It is so awesome to hear about people who witness and pass out tracts, and actually experience the Holy Spirit at work. Praise the Lord!! :thumb:thumb

It seems as though a lot of Christians in my area are not willing to witness or even pass out a tract, and I find this very sad. They really don't understand the Blessings they are missing when they get to witness a person fall under conviction and come to the knowledge that they do need Jesus in their life. We are commanded to spread the Gospel so all can come to the saving grace of our Lord! :preach

It was my intent to be an encouragement to my my dear brothers and sisters of this forum with this post. There are actually people out there who really want to hear about Jesus. Yes, I have had some discouraging moments, but most have been positive and well received.

I was definitely encouraged by your post, and I'm sure there are others out there who were encouraged also. I'm part of a ministry which hands out tracts and Bibles, and we have found that most people are receptive, and the one's who are negative are in the minority. I want to be an encouragement to you to keep up the Lord's work, as we all should do till the day of His return. :thumb
