How do I convince my friend that Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland are false heretical teachers?

Hinn thinks Adam could fly and that we are all little gods.

And Kenneth Copeland says Jesus never claimed to be divine.

She says she takes any good that's there and ignores the rest. That's like saying Satan has some good even though he lies alot.

She thinks I'm being overly dramatic. But I've heard the lies coming from these men's mouths. The cruel nasty threats that Hinn says when he threatens a curse on people. And Copeland alone saying Jesus wasn't God was enough to make me run to my bathroom and puke.

I am praying for her. But I know she's not the only misguided person who watches them. And she's saved so I would hope she'd understand why she needs to stay away from these types of "teachers".

Any suggestions?

Here are some websites you can go to, and print out what these WOFers say, in their own words.
www.letusreason.org
www.bereanfaith.com
You may have to wander around the sites to find exactly what you're looking for, and they have links to other great sites where you can get reliable information. Praying for the Lord's guidance for you and for the Holy Spirit to give you the right things to say that will convince her of the error of these false preachers.

To me that like asking someone who is thirsty if they want to drink water with cianide in it. Well of course they don't! Aww, but all you have to do is take out the cianide and then drink what's left. Yeah. See, that thinking is just as messed up as trying to get any good out of the there and ignoring the rest. You CAN'T do it.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, it is very hard to convince anyone of anything different than what they believe to be true. There are a lot of factors; pride, post-modern thought ("that's your interpretation"), fear of "quenching the Spirit", emotion and experience, among others. The best way to do this is just to open the Bible any time you discuss it and strive to let the Holy Spirit do the speaking through His Word. Just love them and pray that their true hearts be revealed before God and thus He will lead them out of false teaching. :)
