Being a mod, we see many things that as members, you are not privvy to. But something has been on my heart this past week and I think it needs to be stated openly, and maybe convict some people. Mods/Admins work very hard as volunteers to provide a safe and enjoyable Christian forum where we can gather and fellowship and discuss prophecy and things that we share in common. We strive to be fair and give people the benefit of the doubt and work with everyone. Part of our job is protecting the sheep from wolfs and people who cause division on the forum or spread heresy, and even from trolls who just come to get their jollies by being confrontational, rude or sign up in the guise of "wanting to learn".

Well...I would like some of the posters who have been banned and "sneek" back in using dishonest methods to think on this. You have heard the saying, your character is what you do when no body is looking? God knows the heart and He knows everything we do and signing back up as a member using a fake name, alternative emails, fake birthdays, etc. in the hopes of getting back into the forum...this is lying and you are trying to deceive a fellow brother and sister in Christ who feels called to serve this ministry. Daily, we have to do extensive research on new people who sign up to be sure we don't let people in who are here for deceptive reasons and doing so, we find members who've been banned signing back up with false information. Do you not feel convicted or guilty talking with people on the forum who you've fellowshipped with and now claim to be someone else? Do you not feel guilty acting like someone else? Do you feel that your reasons justify the means? As mods and admins of this forum, we would like to fellowship more and share studies together, but instead, our time as of late has been playing detective and having to trace down trolls and people who are lying about who they are. This takes us away from what we WANT to be here to do. We don't WANT to be policemen.

Anyway, I think those of you who seek to decieve need to check your heart and pray about this. Same goes for people who have been banned and send someone else here to PM people and cause division and recruit people to other forums. Maybe the web provides some the feeling that everything is a "roll play", that it is different than "real life", but it is not. Who you claim to be when signing up, should be who you are. We have worked with people many times who've been banned and we let come back and give them another chance. It is amazing what a contrite heart and pure motives can do, but being dishonest to your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ is wrong and I think you should feel convicted, if you don't...you better check your heart and spirit.

Eph. 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth; ) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Gal. 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Again...I post this in hopes of convicting the hearts of some. We mods want to fellowship with you all, and not be detectives and hard noses, but as of late our time is consumed with tracking down trolls, trouble makers and dishonest bretheren. This forum means a lot to us, we love all our members and strive for unity and a safe place to fellowship and a forum that reflects the love of Christ to a lost world that visits our site.

Bumping again, as it needs to be read again...we have enough work to do with trolls, but it really hurts my heart when fellow brothers and sisters in Christ sign up in order to cause division on the forum or make the board look unChristian or mean spirited. Very un-Christ like, I think your spirits need to be checked and look at the big picture, not just your personal vendettas. What you do in secret, shows your real character...sadly there are many trees showing rotten fruit, and for what? Think on that.
