Church Challenges Members: Have Sex Every Day

POSTED: 12:00 am EST February 19, 2008
UPDATED: 9:21 am EST February 19, 2008

YBOR CITY, Fla. -- A Florida church issued a challenge for its married members on Sunday: Have sex every day.

Relevant Church head pastor Paul Wirth said the 50 percent divorce rate was the catalyst for The 30-Day Sex Challenge.

The church set up a Web site concerning the challenge, Local 6 reported.

"And that's no different for people who attend church," Wirth said. "Sometimes life gets in the way. Our jobs get in the way."

Oh, and the flip side of the challenge? No rolling in the sheets for the unwed.

Church member Tim Jones and his fiancee agreed to take on the challenge, though he acknowledges it'll be a tough month.

But he added: "I think it's worth trying to find out other things about each other."

For great sex, head to the church!

MELBOURNE: One would've never thought of going to the church for a better 'sex' life, but now a Church in Australia is doing just that by inviting around 25,000 households around Eltham and Montmorency, for a course in sex, marriage, adultery and pornography. :ohno
Riverside Church pastor Andrew Newbold and his wife Megan have launched a four-week series on sex, marriage, adultery and pornography. They have in fact gone ahead with advertising about this seminar on a flyer that reads: "the best sex you'll ever have."
In the flyer on can see two pairs of feet, belonging to Newbold and his wife Megan, protruding from under the sheets. It says sex is supposed to be fun, so why does it feel like everyone else is having all the fun? It's not supposed to leave you feeling guilty, frustrated or empty.

That's something that should definitely NOT emerge in the Church! What ever happened to "Avoid all appearance of evil"? :rolleyes

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

1 Peter 4:17

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

At the rate it is going, it would not surprise me to see orgies start being promoted in these type of churches. Why not? They are already going down the pagan ritual path as it is.

There is a fringe church I had read about a few years ago that promoted spouse swapping. The way they justified it was that someone is not "having" another's wife or husband, just "borrowing" them for a short time... :tsk

Ya know I have just finnished going over the churches of Revelation and when I read this I thought of what Christ said to Thyratira

Rev 2: 20 ‘But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 ‘I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality. 22 ‘Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds

Guess they did not quotes those words of Christ
