I know i've seen it somewhere, but cannot find it anywhere!! Is there a scripture that talks about a special blessing for those that watch and wait. For those looking at prophesy vs. current events? Or am i not getting this right. Anyone?

Are you thinking of Luke 21:36 where Jesus tells us:
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Maybe you mean this? 2 Timothy 4:8 - "Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."

That, I suspect, applies to the Tribulation believers, not to the Church. The Church has been granted some unconditional promises that neither the Old Testament believers nor the Tribulation believers were or are privileged to enjoy. When the trumpet blows, the Church Age will instantly end, and every believer from Pentecost on, dead and alive, will receive a new resurrection body. Even if he was out of fellowship with God while alive, he'll still get one. The same applies to a living believer. The reason for that is because the prequisites for being resurrected or being Raptured are the same, since they happen at the end of the Church Age. The gift of a new body is the culmination of the salvation package.

There is a blessing in Revelation for the who hear and read the book and keep those things written in it Rev. 1:3. This is the only book in the Bible which there is a blessing for reading and hearing the words written.

I don't think there is a specific scripture that will hone in on any definitive blessing. The whole Bible implies throughout that there are good things promised to those who "Watch". To me, the whole point of the book is to make us aware of the plan God has for us through Jesus Christ. The following link sums up what I'm trying to say a lot better....
