and Focus on the Family’s H.B London lined up with Robert A. Schuller


and his father at the Crystal Cathedral for the ReThink Conference a few weeks ago, Schuller, Jr.’s


picture was being affixed to websites and promotional materials for a marketing campaign that will introduce countless souls to New Age teachings.


Schuller participated in the making of the Living Luminaries,


a movie just released on DVD, with New Age leaders like Marianne Williamson

Michael Beckwith of The Secret,

Eckhart Tolle now being featured on a live webcast with Oprah, and


the “Venerable Tibetan Lama” Chodak Gyatso Nupka.


I’d like to hear the excuses given once again by Dr. Colson, Strobel, London and company for their participation with at the Crystal Cathedral.


Schuller, Jr. is indeed a “living luminary” just like his father who has been a key player in the New Spirituality for decades.

These luminaries give off light that is very, very dark.


Satan is an angel of light.

His ministers radiate that same false light.

The website calls the movie participants, “consciously evolved”. Indeed.

Their supposed message in “Living Luminaries” is about personal happiness.


Their real message is the New Spirituality.

Bear with me on this, and tell me if I am crazy..... or an alarmist.

Re: Michael Beckwith and "The Secret". I have a friend who attends his church. She sends me emails and every one ends with a "poem" from someone named Hafiz. I looked up Hafiz, and it does refer to a particular teacher who (supposedly) memorized the Koran. (This name is now given to ANYONE who has accomplished as such.)

So.... the Agape International Spiritual Center embraces the teachings of Hafiz, who in turn embraces the Koran. This church has over 10,000 members in Santa Monica, CA alone, and more churches are popping up. This church is growing in leaps and bounds. Oprah advocates this belief system. :faint

Does this alarm anyone? That such a fast growing church in America embraces the Koran? The church also believes that God and Allah are the same, and that Jesus was basically a "good guy". I was told by my friend that many "Christians" attend this church (after their own church services). I would, of course, have to question their Christianity if they can attend both churches! And it frightens me that so many are deceived!! Things that she says to me are so much "fluff".... sort of "Chicken Soup for the Soul" stuff, and in fact, the guy that started that whole thing co-wrote "The Secret".

You know, Satan is such a deceiver. Just bit by bit, we are allowing him to break down our morals, and make "exceptions" in our churches. :ohno

I know God did not giv eme a spirit of Fear He has Overcoem teh World but we are witnessing satans grip all over thsi world....and how can you argue with some of the things they promote, many ARE scriptual they just tell you taht the spirit behind it all is teh Divine in us all an dteh Infinite Universe!

I am getting down right scared!

But all thsi stuff makes me feel surrounded. 2 women in my Bible study- one who has always been a very strong Christain is doing the Eckhart Tolle Oprah Book club! They are all in to it! And just think if a Christain is getting deceived by this what the average struggling person is going to do...everyone is spewing this crapola! I wish I was as confident in the pre-trib Rapture is all of you..

I just wanted to be clear.... it is a very fast growing church, especially with the book being a #1 best seller and with Oprah's endorsement. (I have nothing against her, but why some people jump at everything she says is beyond me.. :scratch)
I DO NOT think it is THE fastest growing church in America... (but then again, I do not know what is either...!)
