I came across this site when searching the internet for the topic "children in heaven" and came across a thread here that addressed it. I am 72 years old; I was saved at 11, but I was in my 30's before I became really confident in my salvation (I thought I had to have a constant experience of euphoria of some kind to prove my salvation!).

Welcome Susanna!!!:hug Your testimony sounds just like mine!!! I too worried a lot about my salvation until I realized it wasn't me that wrought it in the first place. Since it was Jesus' totally free gift, I knew it was no longer a burden I had to keep up with! He gave it and He is able to keep it against that day!!! I am so glad you are here!!! :hugJean

Welcome to RR, so glad our Lord led you here. It is such a relief when we grow to realize that He saved us, He keeps us and we are not to trust our feelings but lean wholly on His Truth and Word. Hope you are blessed here among brethren, as I have been.
