I'm moving to our very own house and I have a stupid question...

I have florida power...and I will switch it to our new address....but do i call to set up my utilities (water...garbage...etc.) before we can have water...etc?
i noticed pembroke pines has their own utilities place....in orlando...at my mil and fil's house they had ouc...that was both electric and utilities....so I'm so confused....

Best thing to do is ask your new neighbors.

Some services are exclusive - who provides water - sewer - electric.

Some services you shop for a provider - garbage - long distance or cell phone.

Some communities may have contracts for the service providers and include it in your rent/leese/membership.

Your neighbors should have that information. A great opportunity to share the Gospel!
