Hi, I've bought a Dell Latitude C640 laptop, and I need help installing the internet, is it included in the laptop,or do I have to buy a separate application? Thanks.

Considering that the internet is huge I seriously doubt it could be installed on any one computer.
There are different ways of connecting to the internet and they have different ways of setting them up. What kind of internet connection do you have? You need to call your phone company and sign up for an internet service. Ask them about high speed. If high speed in you area is too expensive then you'll have to live with dial-up and that is no fun. After you sign up with them, they should give you a modem of some kind or install something on your house. If you get DSL you'll have to plug the modem into a phone line and put these little DSL filters on all of the other phones (don't worry, they come with the modem). Then, there should be another plug on the modem that looks like a phone plug but it's bigger. There should be a cable in the box for the modem that plugs into that. There should also be the same connector on your computer. After you plug the modem into the computer you should be able to open Internet Explorer (hit the start button, it should be at the top of the menu) and surf the web. Your modem may require you to log in. If so then ask the internet company about it (my old DSL modem I got at a yard sale required this).
If you get cable inter net the you just have to plug the modem into a cable line and follow the same steps (with out the DSL filters).
If you have to get dial-up then ask me. It's been so long that I forgot how to set it up (and I don't have a modem in my computer).

Some people really don't know the answer to that question.
