Did you drop it? I did that with my iBook several years back. Guess it won't make you feel better that I'm typing this on my MacBook. So here...:hug. You will get your beloved laptop back! I understand the feeling!

You poor, poor thing. Alas, I have also had a screen broken on my old Powerbook... I am also typing on my MacBook Pro :)

My MBP just took a Drop of 4 1/2 feet. It's dead. :cry

My MBP just took a Drop of 4 1/2 feet. It's dead. :crySaw your other post about the sermon notes. You might be able to recover your notes if you can get the HD out and into an external enclosure. You will probably have to use another Mac to read the files though.

You know, it did fall a few days ago.. that must be it. I am typing this now and I cannot see the screen..LOL It is at such a funky angle....

I am bringing it to the Hospital tomorrow..Praying it doesn't cost much to fix
