WOW...what a scary cult. I can't even bring myself to type 'religion'...its a cult, pure and simple. I wonder..what is Tom Cruise and John Travolta going to say to Jesus when they die? I mean...are they going to try and say "Ooops, Jesus..we didn't know so please don't send us to hell"...
Too late it will be for them then.
You know what I have always prayed about..is that Cruise will one day open his eyes and Jesus will reach him. Wouldn't that be awesome??!!
I mean, WOW---can you all imagine how many people that would come to the Lord if Cruise got saved and started witnessing? Alot. I've prayed for Tom many times....and I will keep on doing so.
I also had a question for everyone that may be able to answer this:
THE MARK OF THE BEAST. (I'm kind of a baby christian here, so bear with me please. :doh)
Well...this is going to be ordered by the antichrist in the Great Trib, right?
SO, the rapture happens first, before the mark? Because I was watching on TV the other night and there is a company that has made a microchip that will be ready for human use in 2012, I believe. So here are my questions:
Is THAT the mark? The microchip? How will we know for sure? Will we even be here for that, or raptured already? And about the antichrist...will we know who he is before we are raptured, or is his name a household name before that? Anyone have any ideas on who the antichrist may be?
Okay...sorry I know that's alot of questions, but I have tried to read Revelations many times, and I'm embarassed to say that I barely understand ANY of it! :thinking

Nobody realy knows what teh mark will be, but I doubt it is the chip. Same idea though. They have now evolve dteh technology one step forward to have RFID tattos that can track you and contain all your personal info just like teh chip but in the ink. I m thinking it will be more like that but I dunno.


And you are not a PAIN! We are all still learning and it can be confusing!:)

I hav emy own thoughts as to who the AC will be. But we are not allowed to openly speculate here.....I dont know if we will really know who he is before or not. Many here think we will be gone. Pre-trib position says we WILL not see the mark a sthat si half way through the trib.

Scientology is based on the teachings of the science fiction writer L Ron Hubbard. Most of what they teach comes from the book "Dianetics". You guys ever heard of the case of Lisa McPherson who died in 1996 or 1997 (I think) in Clearwater, FL while under the care of scientologists for several weeks? Do a google search on her...frightening.

YouTube also has a video series on the real L. Ron Hubbard (5 part series). It was very interesting. The guy was psychotic. There's an internet-based group called "Anonymous" that is staging protests all over the world at scientology "churches". Their next protests are on 3/15/08.

The interesting thing about anonymous is it's not necessarily a religious group. It's as if the internet, as a collective body, is trying to do something about this.
I don't think I have ever seen protesting on such a large scale. They did some protesting in Australia too.

A friend of mine was telling me how friend of his became a scientologist priest or something. After this guy was allowed a 2 week vacation, he snapped out of it and asked himself "What am I doing!" and quit. He still gets phone calls from them asking for money.
