I've been trying to get a better job for 2 years with no success. As an older person, my resume wasn't exactly lighting fires of interest in personnel offices across town. :)
Last summer I finally gave it up to the Lord: the frustration, the rejection, the hopelessness... all of it! My believing friends and I began praying faithfully that God would provide a *miracle connection* -- not only to a better job, but to an awesome one that might benefit my beloved country. Unfortunately I had no clue where to start.
In November {out of the blue!} one of our customers suggested I apply for an opening in his office. I applied and underwent a lengthly security clearance which I just passed!!!
I got the job ... starting March 17th. :D
I'll be working for Homeland Security, Dept of Immigration, processing citizenship applications, doing background checks, and attending naturalization ceremonies. God knew EXACTLY where to put me!!! :thumb
