It's interesting how much the theme of end times is reflected in what is being produced in today's film and television:

TV show "Jerico"
Will Smith's "I Am Legend" movie
Will Smith's "Independence Day"
Will Smith's "I Robot"
Horror film "Cloverfield"
Doomsday documentary on The National Geographic Channel "Six Degrees"
TV show "Lost"
"Waterworld"
"Dark City"
"End of Days"
"The Matrix"
Bruce Willis' "Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard part 4)"
Bruce Willis' "Armageddon"
Arnold Schwarzenegger's "End of Days"
film "The Day After Tomorrow"
spooky remake of "War of the Worlds" directed by Steven Spielberg with Tom Cruise
film "Deep Impact"
film "Tank Girl"
Showtime cable television series "Jeremiah"
film "Resident Evil: Extinction"
film "Children of Men"
film "28 Days Later"
film "28 Weeks Later" (sequel to "28 Days Later")
film "Ever Since the World Ended"
film "Twelve Monkeys"
film "The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell"
film "Appleseed"
film "Time of the Wolf"
film "Equilibrium"
film "On the Beach"

And that is not to mention all the books and video games with the theme. I find it extremely fascinating and was wondering what your thoughts are on the subject. I just watched the Bruce Willis film "Live Free or Die Hard" with my brother and it really rattled his cage. I have been talking to my brother about the subject lately and he says that it scares him.

But, all of these films are so understating the destruction that will come to the unrepentant world stated in the Bible.

This is off-topic, but have you noticed the increase in the number of shows about the paranormal? And the History Channel has been having a lot of programs about UFO's. Just de-sensitizing the general public I guess:idunno

I'm sorry, I did go to bed. :aha

There was some guy on who doesn't believe in the rapture, and the host of nightline was asking, "You really don't believe that christians are going to suddenly disappear from the earth?" I can't remember the guys name! I'm sure it's on ABC's website for Nightline. I think it was last Friday night when it was on. Yes, I'm sure it was aired on Friday because my son had just gone home when I walked in and saw it on.

I don't think it is off subject at all.
This is all part of Satan's great lie. ALL OF IT!
I just makes sense that the enemy's plan is to deceive the world in EVERY way.
When destruction does come, everyone will think it is global warming or some other cazy theory.
It is unbelieveable to see scripture unfold in front of our eyes. We are witnessing the beginning of the great lie.
