I will not forgive the strong wording, since it was not necessary.

Jesus promised that I can do all things through HIM who makes me strong. Chew on that for a while, get THE BOOK out and start to study to show yourself approved, lest you become proud in your lackings.

Matthew 6:14-15
14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

God forgives you as you forgive others.

I further back up what he said. If any say they are without sin, they lie.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Same recommendation to you. Look up the word cult and learn something.

I read through these posts and I got the impression you are angry Occam. I assure you my post was not intended to be mean spirited in any way. I am really surprised at some of the posts you have written in this thread. Do you think that flip responses such as the one above (and others) lead to good discussions and genuine understanding?

When you make comments like "chew on that" it comes across as combative. This forum is for Christian fellowship and the sharing of questions and answers and thoughts. I surely don't believe it's a place where we should snipe at one another. We can have differences of opinions, but if they are not expressed with respect, then there is no point.

Do you like being called a liar and deliberately so, when another approach to disagreeing could have been employed? Yes, that makes me angry. It is thoughtless ... and an invitation to combat. I despise the deliberate insult and the holier than thou reprimand. I'm here by invitation, not because I think it is a better place than others like it. I consider the invitation revoked, because I decline acceptance in retro.

Pardon me, I know what I'm doing is wrong but I'm going to do it anyways. :thumb ROFL

OccamsRaz,

God loves you, and so do I. May God release you from the SDA teachings.

We should pray for all that have been drawn into cults. SDA, Mormons, and JW are just a few cults that sadly influence people in ways that are against God's Holy Word. It is hard for those who have been sucked into these groups to find a way out, because they have put their faith in people instead of God and when they realize that they have been led astray it rips their hearts open. It is far easier to be angry at those who speak the truth then to admit even to themselves that they have believed lies for so long. People like myself who have lost loved ones can tell you anger is an easer emotion to deal with then pain, so people who are hurting often hide their pain in anger. We should pray that OccamsRaz and others that have been fed lies, will be able to open their eyes to the truth.

We are no longer under law but grace. Read the letter to the Galatians.

I can't speak for others, but I had no intention of calling anyone a liar. I certainly did not "invite you to combat". I simply stated that I saw some concerns about the SDA because of what I read and what I experienced. I'm not sure what you are talking about with regard to you being here by invitation. Rational people discuss and debate in a rational and respectful way. It would appear that you have let your emotions and anger get the better of you. I certainly did not "invite" you to be rude and I feel saddened that you made that choice. You defeat your point yourself when you speak rudely and with anger.
