last year my rabbit (see avatar) started to go blind in one eye (cataract) :( i prayed to the Lord last December to please spare her good eye...i could see a faint cataract forming & i prayed that it would not develop like the other one :pray i thanked our Lord Jesus so much because the cataract didn't get worse :yeah
sadly at the end of February, 2 weeks ago i noticed that the cataract was getting bigger & whiter. i realized that BB was going blind in that eye too :( i was sad & cried but i didn't think that my Lord hadn't answered my prayer...because of him i'm able to keep going and accept what has happened to my beautiful girl.
i've come to understand that even when things don't go well our Lord Jesus is still our wonderful Lord & Savior no matter what! :yeah
:pray thank you Lord for giving me your grace and peace to accept that not everything in life turns out how you want it too

Isn't it wonderful when we finally get to the point where we say, "Lord, no matter what happens to me, You are still worthy of my whole heart and all the praise I can give You.
I trust You Daddy to do what's best, even when I don't understand Your plan."
That is something to celebrate indeed! :yeah:yeah:yeah:hug

absolutly, i feel that our Lord Jesus has been strengthening me these past few months. i know they arn't human, but my pets are very important to me - 2 in particular. Pookie was my #1 cat, i had to have him put down last November :( he was 12. a few months before that i found out about BB's eyesight. the last few months i've been blaming myself for what's happened to my pets :doh and when i realized BB's 2nd eye was going i hugged her and cried.
:pray i've been blessed with such wonderful pets

I remember you posting about the loss of Pookie in November. I know how much we grieve for our pets, it's devastating to lose them. And it's so hard to watch them age and deteriorate. :hug
Praying for you and bunny. :hug:pray

The Bible says we are to be thankful in all things. This is a very difficult task to undertake when our hearts are broken. But, then we realize our loving Father wouldn't have asked it of us if it were not for our own good. So, when we go against the "natural" and do the "unnatural" by praising God even in our hour of grief and disappointment, we discover after a while a new new strength--an inner confidence. It speaks to our spirit: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Even though it hurts so much when we prayed with all our heart and still, we didn't receive the blessing we expected, we have to say, Okay Lord, it's your will and not mine that needs to be done. I will look for the blessing out of this heartache knowing you will provide a way through the suffering. God will give you the inner strength and resources to care for your precious bunny. You will be his eyes now as well as his loving provider. God bless you and know that you are loved!

So sorry about your bunny...
She may not be able to see as well as she used to but she can still feel your love.
She has been very blessed to have you as a friend and take such good care of her.
I really wish more pet owners were like you...
Praying for you both!!
