God does indeed provide

Since having surgery Wednesday, my hubby is having trouble keeping food down. This morning, I was thinking it would be so nice if we had soup (I don't drive anymore) and I got a phone call from a lady from Church who is bringing some soup and a casserole over for supper. But I had no clue what to do for lunch. I walked down to the mail box a few minutes ago and a neighbor saw me and asked if we needed anything and at first I was going to say no just out of not wanting to be a bother but I spoke up and asked if she just had one can of soup. She brought three over and now hubby has a bowl of soup for lunch.
God is good!

Yes, God does provide. Amen! He has been providing mightily for us this past year like you wouldnt believe.......

Hubby's tummy is still messed up so all that soup, is indeed a blessing. We had not wanted to move to Houston, but hubby having his surgery is reminding me, how nice it will be with the rest of our family. I am not as strong as I was years ago, and it will be nice to be close to my daughter. My son does the best he can but he has a demanding job with long hours.
I am beginning to see though why it is God's will that we move back to Texas. We don't always understand God's will but it is always right.
