going to turn out to be our curse?? This country was blessed so much... material wise.... but I think the things we have gotten used to (ie, being many of the blessings we received from the Lord)... will be this country's downfall... anyone else agree? It just seems like it will be alot harder to do without something once you have had it than to never have had it at all.... so the prosperity of this country may well be the downfall of the people and we just "think" we have seen alot of violence and anger in the news lately. I dont think we have seen anything yet..... any thoughts? :thinking

Oh, I agree. We have become soft. We are so used to going to the store and getting whatever we need whenever we need it. What will happen when people can't afford to heat their homes much less drive their big gas-guzzlers? Or when we have to choose between feeding our children or getting much needed medical help for one of them that is deathly ill. As far as medicine goes, we've become so dependent on ours docs that we have forgotten the long-used and useful home remedies, the healing herbs and how to make the infusions or poultices that can heal. Yep, we are going to be in desperate straights in a very short time, I feel.
