We just spent over 3 hours at the VA Emergency Room. They thought hubby was having a heart attack. Thank God it turned out to be problems with his digestive system. Doctor thinks the surgery aggravated his reflux disease.
Our Pastor is such a sweetheart. He drove 45 minutes to meet hubby at the emergency room. It makes you feel so loved when your Pastor cares about you.
Please pray that hubby will rest tonight and be able to hold some soup down tomorrow. Also pray for my son and I we are both hurting and exhausted.
thank you so much.

Praising the Lord with you, Betty, that your dh didn't have a heart attack. Also thanking Him for the selflessness and caring of your pastor to be with you at the ER.

Continuing in prayer for your family's health and up-coming move. :hug:pray

Thank you so very much for your prayers. I know God was with us. Hubby was hiccuping so bad that he had trouble breathing. We called the 24 hour hot line for the VA and the nurse told us he was having symptoms that were for an immediate heart attack and to give him a aspirin and take him to the hospital. It is 45 minute drive and my son and I were a nervous wreck. I was up till 2 this morning but when I crashed I slept until 11 this morning. Needless to say we will be lazy today.
Thank you for your prayers. I am now seeing more and more why God is moving us back to Houston. I was so tired when I got home, that I just ate a pint of Chunky Monkey Ice Cream for supper. :) I needed comfort food.:thumb

Hubby is still in pain most of the time, but he is doing better, not only physically but emotionally. God is helping all of us.
thank you Republic for the best wishes. I pray that God will bless you and encourage you in your walk with Him.
