I haven't really been worrying about it that much. I feel a bit disconnected because I'm up here at college away from him.

So it's gonna be official this Saturday! I'm kinda excited, I wonder when it will really hit me. I can't wait!

Since it's the last week, it's getting down to crunch time.
I'll looking for any last minute advice, tips or anything!

It doesn't have to be just relationship tips. If it's something that will cut down
the food bill, a good recipe, ways to take hard stains out of shirts, that will do!

Thank you everyone for your help!

I'm not sure i have much advice for you, never been married and don't have a clue how to cook anything that doesn't come frozen in a box. I just wanted to say:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :hug

Make sure you put the cap back on the toothpaste, and squeeze from the bottom up.

Don't put your makeup on at the same mirror as you new husband, or at least don't do it at the same time he is using the mirror or you'll get an earful.

Try to make foods that his mother made for him, like his favorite dessert. In our house it's chocolate pie and blueberry pie. Of course he doesn't like them unless his mother makes them for him, so I just let her do it even though she lives 300 miles away. Thankfully I love my MIL, and she likes making her son his favorite foods.

Use coupons when you go shopping, helps save $$$ at the grocery store.

Pick your fights, it's not worth it to get into an argument over silly things.

:thinking I'm sure there's more but you get the idea. Just love and respect your husband and do the best you can, but don't try to be super wife. He's marrying you for who you are and he loves you just the way you are.

Congratulations!!!

Learn to compromise on less important things to you, and stand your ground on what you firmly believe in!

I generally don't put make up on, so that's good!

He's clumsy enough I'd put on eye make in a COMPLETELY different part of the house. I've gotten some unintentional elbows in the face in the past. Doesn't help I'm short and he's tall. Elbow hazard increases, Lol.

I'll put a coupon box on my list of stuff to get. Is there any good E-coupon sites?

If you grocery shop at WalMart, then you can take other grocery store's sales flyer's and they honor that sale. It takes the checker awhile to do it, but it is usually worth it. Just stay organized about it! That way you won't be driving to all the other stores for good deals.

try to make a master grocery list up on your computer, then print it off when your getting ready to go to the store. Use coupons with sales that are going on, if you have a store that has cards (i.e. Kroger). It can not only save $$ on grocery's but gas as well.
On the back of the list I also make a list of any meats & vegetables that I already have on hand. DH, the girls & I divide & conquer while at the grocery store.
Also try never go to bed angry with each other, marriage takes work from both of you. Some days it may be you giving all, others it will be him.
The end of this month DH & I, will be married for eighteen years, our relationship as changed during that time. We have been blessed with two daughters, we have gotten older of course and we have made many moves. His jobs has caused us to move about nine times and we lived in three states in that time. But I love him more than the day I walked down the aisle of the church & said my vows. I don't know if any of this helps, but I will pray that God will bless your marriage.

:hug Just LOVE him with the love of Jesus Christ, just the way he is. It's what you really want him to do, too, isn't it :hug:thumb:yeah?

Try to
1. As much as possible stay out of debt. (except a house)
2. If in debt, get out of debt. it will make things a lot easier.
