Um, no. Simply no. She (Oprah) is WRONG on exactly 100% of everything she said. First, God is not jealous OF us, He is jealous FOR us. Funny how people who seem so smart grasp so quickly after any little thing they think will justify their own blasphemy as "right". So Oprah apparently doesn't know that the word "jealous" has more than one meaning and context. And millions look up to this woman as a role model . . .

O-kay.

She's created her own excuse for denying the deity and true purpose of Jesus. Christ didn't come to Earth to "show us how to life as humans". Or to show us the true spirit that is in us. Pa-lease. He clearly -- CLEARLY -- states why he has come multiple times.

He came to pay our sin debt, to suffer on the cross for our transgressions, to live as a human and fulfill the Law, thereby giving us a means to reconcile us to a perfect, just, and holy God.

It might help if she actually read the Bible.

Fact is, she doesn't want to believe the Bible, doesn't want to acknowledge the real Jesus. She is shaping Christ into a false "god", morphing Him into a mere prophet or "good person" who is God, but didn't suffer, bleed, and sacrifice Himself for our sins. She's in deep idolatry, and is simply remaking God in her own image.

Oprah is deluded and simply chasing after the itching in her ears. Sound doctrine this is not.

Christ is the only way to heaven. Period.

God bless.

Is it my imagination or has Oprah's appearence changed? I remember her from her days at WJZ in Baltimore (my original hometown). Even a few years ago I considered her to be a beautiful woman but when I recently tuned in after not watching for a year or two, I could not believe how she has changed. I didn't even recognize her!!! Is this a case of the inner self showing through to to the outer appearence or am I just seeing things? (I have had this same thing happen to me before when I knew people who got into witchcraft and other evil cults after I'd known them a few years. It appeared as if a dark cloud covered their faces and their eyes were hollow.)

only in her wildest dreams.if she does not change her mind about needing a saviour she is going to regret it in the worst way for a eternity.she needs our prayers.God can see all her hidden faults and it can be guaranteed she has sinned against God at one time or another,as we all have.

sometimes the Holy spirit can make us see things we would otherwise not see.

Actually, I feel certain people in this world are jealous of God, because they are jealous of Jesus Christ. I would imagine the spirit of the antichrist at work involves that jealousy, denying that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, and denying who He is.

There are a lot of people on this earth, that don't know the Lord, or have the Holy Spirit, and think in terms of their own power and influence. They don't see Jesus Christ for who He is (the Son of God, the revelation of God, the image of the invisible God), and they see Him as an "influential teacher" to compete with on the stage of history. I'm not sure, but it looks like the "anti-christ" will likely have that type of attitude towards Jesus.

The Bible shows God has a righteous jealousy for His own. For God to be eternal, put the sun in place, and stars, and planets, and entire Universe, why would He be jealous of any small human being? I was looking at a picture awhile back of two men fly-fishing in a stream. It was amazing how small and tiny they were in the picture compared to the flowing stream, the large boulders, and the towering firs lining the stream. Yet, small as they (we) are, the Bible shows God created man in His image and likeness, as the "crowning glory" of His creation, placing them over all on this earth, and allowing them to have the knowlege of good and evil.
