I have found a true bible believing church and I attended last night ( for the first time in 20 years) and didnt want to leave when the time was up.I dont know where to begin but I have been going thru a struggle and as a new Christian I didnt know what to do and I kept praying for knowledge.The struggle started to end last Thursday,I got a Waxhaw Village newspaper on town events and such and I had visited a veterns wall and noticed they had bricks with names on them,one was in D Day and the other the civil war so I wanted to get my Daddy a brick so looking in the newspaper they were taking orders and I called and gave her the info but I noticed Saturday that a church was on the next page and it jumpted off the page everytime I looked at it :scratch that night in my 2 hour bible study they were speaking of baptism and the meaning and importance of it.(there was my problem)Sunday I asked several christians what to do and they said its up to you and the Lord so I decided Lord if this is what you want me to do I will do it,that very instant I had a very warm chilling feeling go over me,my heart almost jumpted out my face went warm and I was smiling with tears in my eyes and the struggle feeling left me.I checked the church out and emailed the pastor and Monday he got back with me and I called and talked with him yesterday.I attended last night and I thought I didnt know anyone but there were several people that I deal with at stores that were there and they welcomed me with opened arms,they invited me to a ladies once a month crochet thing where they make things and give to shut ins and cancer patients and hospice and such.church was over at 8 pm but the pastor sat with me and talked to me about salvation and baptism till about 8:45,I told him of my fear of churches and the false teaches,of the wonderful fellowship with you all here,what saved me,my background in church, witnessing after my job hours and to witness with my actions on the job the more we talked the more excited I got,I told him of my fear of being left behind and the dream that the Lord gave me to confirm that I wont be left behind.He stated that he had been praying for new membersand how its important to feelowship in Gods house and to learn how to build up our faith and to strengthen our daily walk with others and once he had to tell to calm down for I was so excited and I told him I am like Paul Revere.He told me that I am diffinally saved with no doubt and Easter Sunday when he takes the alter call if I would come before the church and after a few more times of him speaking to me then I get baptised( which I have never been baptised).I am sorry this is so long but I had to share this glorious time.
