I stumbled on this, long after I heard about it from an eye witness on a radio program a couple months ago.

Where are these from?

At the bottom of the last picture, it says: ORIGINAL CAPTION: On I-25 passing through Albuquerque NM December 6, 2007. (JW)

Is that what you meant, or did you mean, where did the equipment come from?

The bottom of the page states, "On I-25 passing through Albuquerque NM December 6, 2007". It looks like the vehicles are on a train? Some strange goings on there..

The army is moving equipment around. La te dah. Been done before. will be done again.

Its not like this is being done in secret. its right out in the open. There is a lot of equipment overseas. perhaps the vehicles pictured are replacements, or beefing up some area stripped bare of equipment by the war.

Thats what I think is going on. Military vehicles on a train...whats implied here?
I doubt anything sinister is going on. Its all out in the open.

looks like old equipment, perhaps it national guard type stuff (they get the oldies but goodies after all). I don't see anything conspiratorial here if that's the question....it's cheaper to load all of this stuff on a train than to drive huge convoys across the US. Maybe we're selling more left overs to mexico.....it doesn't say which direction the train is going and for that matter we have no proof it's even american equipment and really taken in america...this could be mexican equipment in Juarez for all we know. Maybe mexico is going to invade the US! (joke)

:lol2

I meant, where is the equipment from, I didn't see any insignia. Having grown up in AZ and near Luke AFB, seeing equipment and such was fairly common, just curious about the generic look. It does seem like an awful lot of equipment though...

Moving on....

It looks like it's all painted that desert brown. Possibly going to Iraq. Reminds me of the desert colors that the soldiers uniforms are.

LOL, moving on too. :)

It's not all old vehicles...I see some of the newer 5 tons, HEMMT's and PLS's there.

They're most likely on their way to a port to be shipped to the Middle East. Or perhaps it's just for an exercise somewhere east of NM. At any rate, this is how we transport equipment.

There's an interesting article on the website called "The Coming Economic Depression." Reads like it could have been written yesterday, but appears to have been written in 2005.
