I just love that song! It is so moving... Thank you, powerful and precious Lord!! I didn't know that song was by Avalon. There is another song I'm trying to tract down who sings it. It is kind of a similar song; The lyrics start out with a beautiful roll of piano, with words like: "You changed my world..." Then, the chorus sings something like: "And, I wanna go where you go....." and "I don't wanna go if You're not there..." (Basically, the chorus sings of following Jesus, and going where He goes, and being home when you are close to Him). It is just a beautiful song...

^Oh, thanks so much! It makes sense that it is also by the same group, because the songs remind me of each other (in a sort of way). "You Were There" is rich with Scripture and historic, Biblical events and timelines, while "I Don't Want To Go" is more of a heart-to-heart song towards Jesus. Both songs are so beautiful...
