Hi all, As a parent, we always are in prayer for protection for our children. I want to share that my 15 year old daughter is in Atlanta with her grandmother for the Uof K game. My DH and I were watching as Mississipi State and Alabama were finishing up and watched as part of the roof and some other objects started to sway. The announcers said it sounded like a tornado and that there was severe weather in the area. For a couple of minutes I tried to contact both my daughter and mother in law and was not able to get in touch with them. Thankfully, though, my daughter called to say they are fine, but a bit startled and that some people took off running. I am so thankful that God protected them, as I know it could have been worse. There could have been massive panic and people could have trampled each other or worse, the tornado could have touched down, but praise the Lord, they are fine. Thank you Jesus. It was just a terrible feeling to see on TV what was going on and to know that my child and mother in law are there in that building and we are miles away here in KY. Again, thank you Jesus. :faint

Praise God for your daughters safety.
I was also wondering how the crowd managed to stay calm and how they did not trampled each other.

I am glad your daughter was fine, the Lord's hand was in it for sure. :)

Praise God!!:yeah We see so much destruction in pictures in the news. We hear of the very large paths of destruction these awful twisters take and yet God in His infinite mercy protects His children! It is incredible how much damage occurs and yet so few lives are taken. Thank You Jesus!:yeah
