I broke down and bought a Magnavox converter box for my t.v. for when digital takes over next Feb. I had $40.00 coupon from the government so I ended up paying $10.52 with tax for the box :thumb
It works great :bouncie
I have better reception than I did before, the pictures are perfectly clear. You would think I had cable t.v.!! I'm so glad that I bought the converter box.

We bought a digital TV and we get the same results. With a digital TV, all of the channels have digital sub broadcasts (8, 8-1, 8-2). And many have several, like the Christian channel has five I think. Forget cable, just get a hd TV

Are you using an over-the-air antenna? Or rabbit ears?

Don't know about John, but I had rabbit ears for a while and bought a roof top antenna last year.
Antenna Web (http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx) is a good place to look for one.

Yeah I like the sub channels. I can get 24/7 local weather. I noticed one of our local PBS stations has like 7 sub channels :faint.
