I just want to give God praise and glory! He is working wonders that I thought would never happen. My husband has been looking for a new job for almost a year. He's been on several interviews, but none panned out. My parents are getting older and are going to need family near them and we have been praying that my husband can get a job in south Georgia to live near them when they move there. My sister and brother in law are already living there and my brother in law gave my husband's resume to his boss. Well all of a sudden...
My parents just sold their house that was on the market for two years and then bought a house not 48 hours later. They are moving to south Georgia at the end of the month. My husband is flying today to go on a second interview with the company my brother in law works for, although my brother in law says this is just a formality, the job is his.
I never thought it would happen and now in a span of four days, all is coming together. Praise God. He is so good. We will be living by my parents and my husband will be getting the job he needs and deserves after all his years of hard work:):):):):):):).

I think He makes me wait to teach me that He is in control! If I wasn't such a control freak, He'd probably give me things sooner. LOL!!!!:yay

Ah, the secret which really is not such a secret is to let God have control.

The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago when at witts end, I threw up my hands and said God, you have to change things because it can't go on like it is,,,,,,,,
Long story short, God opened the door for a perfect Job. The employer actually called me,,not the other way around.

Happy for you guys.

Thank you. I feel like Cinderella the day of the ball. On a sour note, hubby missed the connecting flight by one minute and got stuck in Philly, and will arrive at the hotel at 2am and the interview begins at 8am, but he's on top of it all and I am so thankful my husband had come this far. His current job leaves no room for advancement and he's been there forever. I really do praise God and need to put the steering wheel in God's hands and not mine, but like I said, the Lord is teaching me slowly but surely. :)

Yay!! I know what you mean...so many good things have been happening to us, too. It is amazing when things seem so dark for so long, and then there is a big breakthrough and God does a lot of awesome things all at once!

It's so wonderful to read about experiences with God's amazing presence and omnipotence! I think it's so important to be able to point out moments or situations and say, "See? He's here and He has everything in His hands." It increases our faith.

Thank you for sharing this with us, and I'm praying for a wonderful outcome for your family!

Sooo.....
Since I started this thread, the company my husband interviewed with is apparently in trouble. They fired the head guy that his second interview was with.....
Then he gets another interview with another company and to our shock and amazement, we are moving to the other side of the state in six weeks. More money, less hours, less stress. Not down to Valdosta as we planned, but God planned somewhere else. :yay
We'll be four hours from my parents and sister, but the cost of living is 20% less and we can buy a house twice the size of our current home for 50,000 less.
God is amazing and God is in control!!!!:yeah
