Who else is excited about the real One World Government?

The One World Government of Jesus Christ of course! :)

I was not talking about the poor excuse run by the Antichrist.

Think about it, there is so much to look forward to when Jesus reigns on Earth...who else is awaiting this special era? The Reign of Jesus Christ himself on Earth!

But I have a question, it is called the Thousand Year reign of Jesus Christ...what happens after a thousand years? Of course I know that Jesus will be forever, but why is it called the thousand year reign?

Thanks! :)

Jesus' mellinial reign is not really a one world government. It is the thousand year reigning of christ, before satan will be forever tormented, while the believers are made to experience a life with Jesus as the reigning head. After which there will be the bema and white throne judgement. One world government is earthly and is of satan's,it is temporary. The mellinial reign of Jesus is heavenly under Jesus' leaderdhip and is leading to eternal life.

This is the chief scripture concerning Christ's Reign on Earth when He Returns:
---
Revelation 20:4-6 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

A more in-depth understanding can be gained by purchasing J. Dwight Pentecost's excellent book "Things to Come" subtitled "A study of biblical eschatology". I can't recommend this book enough. It blessed me when I purchased it in 1978. I still use it as a reference to clear up any misunderstandings that may crop up.
