Praising the Lord for RR!!!

My journey between the Lord and me would fill a book. I was saved when I was 8 yrs old. I had such little direction in my Christian walk, I think, because no one at all in my family was or is saved. I made so many mistakes and I'm still making them. Much of my heartache during my life was a result of poor choices. Some wasn't. If I strayed from the Lord, He always guided me back. One of my greatest desires was to know His truth. My constant prayer was for God to show me the truth, no matter what. One thing He kept me from was falling into false doctrines. I'm no whiz in Bible verse, but I can spot false doctrine a mile away. All my life I haven't really had anyone to turn to for Biblical instruction, it's all self taught with the Lord's help. I knew that there were other true believers "out there" but as of now I only know one other. I tried several churches but they didn't work out. I became interested in Bible prophecy when I attended a small lecture hosted by Dave Breese and a couple others, in the "80's, I think. I have been begging the Lord for a very long time to help me keep informed of prophecy. I've had so little money that I couldn't afford books for years. I reasoned with Him that I'm living in the last days, and so many Christians before me wanted to be a part of it. But I was missing it because of my circumstances. Recently, He made it possible for me thru RR. I'm serious, this site is a blessing beyond my wildest expectations. There is so much information here, I've hardly known where to begin. I still have an issue, a bit on the serious side of things, but I am Praising the Lord from the tip of my toes to yelling as loud as I can. RR is my blessing from the Lord!! I am so far behind concerning everything here but my spirit is getting fed and I can't express how good it feels. Thank you Lord, thank you RR, thank you Christians. Sorry this is so long, like I said, I could easily have written a book. PRAISE THE LORD! :thankyou2

Without a doubt I am positive it was the Lord Who lead you here!!!:yeah He lead me here as well. Almost without any prethought of my own. Twinkle: Dude! (or Dudette?) Great to have you! And I'm sure that I speak for many of us who have been here for awhile, that we often feel similarly to this day. Just about any topic, big, medium, or small has relevant information here, both factual, as well as interesting discussions about what certain things may or may not mean, etc. Each of us can and has learned lots of things here, and occasionally another rewarding thing is coming across things or questions people have that one can help answer or add to based on our own experiences or learning. Lots of good fellowship and resources here!

And, for a break, there's lots of little fun and games and laughs in some of the bottom threads.
