I wanted to know your thoughts on whether there is a book of life which has the names of all who are born, but only those who die without being saved are blotted out, and there is another book of life called the Lamb's book of life in which only the saved are written and who can never be blotted out??
Thanks,
Lori

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
There is only one "Book of Life" aka the "Lambs Book of Life", which will list those who are saved only. There are other books that list the sins that those blotted out of the Book of Life committed, and for which they are judged, since the Lamb's blood did not cover their sin.
Those who are saved will have their names in the Lamb's Book of Life, those not saved will have their name blotted out and will be judged for those things in "the other books".
Believers are "judged" at the Bema seat of Christ, but not for punishment of sin as our sins are all blotted out, but for our works for which we will receive rewards.

Thank God He provided us with a way "out." I shudder to think how my sins would be judged.

For those of us still learning the Bible, please include scriptures to back up statements about things such as other books or anything really. It's not that I don't believe you, but I like to take what I hear and be able to go to the Bible and read it. I can't find anything about this, because I don't know the names of those books, for example and I have no idea where to look in my Bible for this info. I learn through reading and this is what makes it stick in my mind and makes it more understandable to me. Thanks so much.
