This might be worth some investment capital.

Anything that grows 'can convert into oil'
Company finds natural solution that turns plants into gasoline

He expects to have the first pilot plant for the process running within two to three months, and will operate it for a year to collect engineering data to design full-scale production facilities. He thinks the larger facilities will be producing oil "inside the next two years."

Can you hear the Sheiks in the Middle East getting shaking?

Very interesting... :thinking

I'm thinking of a 3 letter word....begins with 'w'....

Hopefully it's preceded by a 7 letter word beginning with 'r'.

Sorry to disagree with you but, this is the worst idea I’ve heard. How many times lately have we heard about food shortages around the world? now "these people" want to take even more food away to create fuel!?

First of all oil will never run out. The have found oil fountains in the bottom of the ocean, spewing oil daily. They have also found oil on other planets and there aren’t any dinosaurs there!

If "we" (meaning the world) must turn away from the energy source God gave us then lets at least look at some different energy He gave us, i.e.: hydrogen (literally everywhere in the universe). You can power cars on just water by separating the one part oxygen and two parts hydrogen from water. I just don't understand why these energy companies cant see this. oh that’s right, they wont be able to make money because they are almost free energy sources.
Thats right folks, it's a money hungry world. Do you think little Ally Gore really cares about the fake global warming? I dont, because his "false ministry" to change the world, has made him lots of money.:heh

Everything is just slowly shaping for the world to become completely controlled by one gov't. I really don't believe a thing that Hellary, McCain, or the Muslim, says. :preach

...First of all oil will never run out. ... They have also found oil on other planets...As far as anyone knows oil is not being made so we are drawing from a finite supply, but the supply probably extends farther into the future than many want to admit. In order for there to be oil on planets there would also have to be plants.

But this isn't about a viable energy alternative, it's about an investment opportunity. Don't you know anything about capitalism? ;)

Wha...??? :scratch

Middle East- little plant life- lots of oil.
Gulf of Mexico- all water- lots of oil.
Alaska- very sparse vegetation (seasonal)- adequate oil.
Jungles- lots and lots of plant life- adequate oil
Arctic- no plant life- adequate oil
Russia- mixed- lots of oil
African deserts- little plant life- lots of oil

Rhyme? Reason?

That is only if you are purposing that oil is actually fossils fuels. I do not believe oil comes from decaying plant and animal matter.

The oil was in the earth from the beginning. It is a kind of lubricant for the layers.
