:hug I wrote about this very subject on the thread in Christian Chat about only having a week to live!! I have been so very sick that the doctors didn't give more than days to live. It has been such a blessing to me because I now understand how unimportant arguments and differences are, and I'm always aware that the words I've just said may be my last. Thank you for posting this beautiful poem! :hug

You are so right in what you said. Because of what you have been going through, you see everything differently now. I pray we all could realize these things before we face ill health or loss of someone we love.:tsk

My friend who wrote that, Barbara, had just been to a wake for the husband of her friend. Barb knew that her friend had been angry with her husband for a long time, and then there she was, standing over his casket staring down at him. It was too late for her to forgive and show him her love. :(
