I'm Scared!

I'm scared :sob cuz a friend of mine emailed me this morning and said to me:

"I read that the US terrorist watch list has 750,000 names on it and is growing by 20,000 names each month!

Can you imagine? It's so obviously stupid for them to have that many people on the list. With the types of sites and blogs you read, your name is probably on that list."

He was refering to links I go to that are posted here in the ecology economics thread (such as the End Game video etc).

My hubby had also just said that to me just 2 nights ago! I'M SCARED NOW! :sob

We're all probably on that list! How could it be growing so rapidly?!

What evidence is there that your avg ordinary American is on the list? Also, considering there are well over a billion Muslims in the world and that perhaps 1-2% (if not more) are raidcal Jihadists, It doesnt surprise me that the list is that long. Can you post a link with more info (or can your friend)?

Why? Several years ago, I left my cell phone on a plane when the flight landed at Dallas/Fort Worth (post 9-11). As I went to re-enter the plane to retrieve my phone, I was stopped, told I couldn't go back onboard to get it, and that it was just tough luck for me.

That answer, as you might imagine, was not nearly satisfactory to me, and I promptly began to raise a big stink. Fortunately, a level headed police officer patrolling the area came to my rescue, going onboard the plane and returning my phone to me. I did thank him profusely.

Anyway, ever since then, on every flight I've had, I get the extra loving attention of the TSA inspector on duty. :D

Something similar happened to me about a year after 9-1-1. A friend of mine who was 80 years old was sharing some things with me thru email that were top secret knd of things and as was reading what he typed, outloud to my husband, my hubby said "I'm sure you'll both be watched closely now! He shouldn't have shared that!" I got scared then too. :( The thing is, all of my email which I sent from the following day up until a week later, was never recieved...just disappeared into cyberspace. And I received nobody elses email either! A weeks worth of mail just disappear??? :faint And my friends email disappeared too!

As of today, we're in the United States of America under the Constitution for all. I support our President and our governments efforts. It doesn't mean I agree with every single move. Show me one person in government that agrees with everything? That does not make people a threat, it shows that you're rightfully concerned about your country and where it's heading.

Yes, I too have wondered which list I am on. :thinking I always get pulled aside when flying.:rolleyesWe fly alot to germany. Sometimes I used to get frightened :fear because your under their control at that moment. The bottom line for us right now is that we are on the RIGHT LIST. They can kill the body but not the soul.I well bow to no one or nothing! JESUS only well I bow down before.

When you get "scared", remember what Jesus said, (paraphrased sort of) Dont be afraid of those that can kill the body but fear the one that destroy the soul...... I think, in these days to come, we, as believers, have to come to terms with the possibility of our death at the hands of others in control..... Once you can come to grips on it and get His perspective, its easier to take what is going on and not worry as much..... and I think coming to grips with it is done on a daily basis as we choose to look up at our Savior rather than out at this evil world....THank you that we have that hope Jesus!

As pro bush administration as this site is, I am sure you all are fine. I read that the projection as well actually the projection is about 900k and it increasing by 20k a month...this is just for America. I am still amazed that people think that every one on that list is a member of Islam. I've said some really colorful things about this administration and my hope that, when the investigation is complete by the Great Britian Government Police that the truth of all 'this' will get out. I hope I have not offended anyone. The more I read on this group, the more I realize that the only thing I really have in common with you all is that Jesus lived died and rose again and is the only Saviour of all men :) I can say that i have fasted and prayed much on the issues of this administration and...something doesnt smell right and they are not above reproach and in no way does that effect my witness. If anything it shows a willingness to show discernment (which the bible tells us to have...right?). I just hope that GOD will convict the hearts of those who know the truth, to come forward.

I know I have been on 'lists' since i was probably 7. :hehee I kind of have a big mouth and question every human around me. Yeah, I am on a list and that's okay.

Don't worry Glory, He has you in His hand. I am sure I am on some list, I've written so many letters over the years, sent emails, made calls, etc. When I go to the airport, I am always pulled aside and taken to a room where I get swabbed, questioned and my things gone through. I don't have any fear for being on a "human list", I take comfort that I am in the Lambs Book of Life and nothing will ever happen to me that takes Him by surprise. Fear is not of God, pray for peace and strength and the Holy Spirit will hold you up. :hug

PS...if you're on some list, you'll be in good company! :) Also, is your friend a believer?
