An Evening with John MacArthur
MacArthur’s A Tale of Two Sons unleashes the real story behind Jesus’ most famous parable. On Friday, April 18, 90.9 KCBI will welcome best-selling author and speaker Dr. John MacArthur to Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30PM, and will run from 7:30 – 9:00PM. Following the presentation, Dr. MacArthur will be available in the church lobby to sign copies of his latest book, A Tale of Two Sons.

“John MacArthur is one of the cornerstones of ministry in today’s world,” said KCBI’s Vice President of Programming Mike Tirone. “Not only does he have a solid grasp of the Word of God, but he also unabashedly preaches the entire concept of God!”

John MacArthur is a fifth-generation pastor, a popular author and conference speaker, and has served as pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California since 1969. John’s pulpit ministry has been extended around the globe through his radio ministry Grace to You and its satellite offices in Australia, Canada, Europe, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Africa.

In addition to producing daily radio programs for nearly 2,000 English and Spanish radio outlets worldwide, Grace to You distributes books, software, audiotapes, and CDs by John MacArthur. bump... Did any of you DFW friends go? I work nights and could not get over there. Sad I know, b/c Crossroads is only 5-6 miles from my house.

I wasn't able to make it ~ traffic in the metro-plex, ya know...but Dr. MacArthur's radio broadcast is doing a series on A Tale of Two Sons, which is what he spoke on at Crossroads, I believe. The series is GREAT and I'm sorry I didn't get to see him in person. I often thank God for giving us teachers such as MacArthur.
