Headteachers would bring in imams, rabbis and priests to instruct religious pupils as part of the curriculum in an attempt to satisfy parental demand for religion in schools and prevent the establishment of more single-faith schools.

This is the kind of thing we have been wanting in public school.. but I think they (Dept. of Educatio and the people who want a secular public school) will always say "If you don't like it, then leave and go to a private school"

it's the "fairness act" resurfacing in its endless incarnations. "fairness" of course meaning fair to everything but the truth of the Gospel.

Oh my. I keep reading post after post on this board and see what is happening around us and I cannot breathe. It just keeps getting worse and worse. I only have one child and for many years longed for another. I am so thankful to our Lord that he did not bless me with another one to be brought up in these terrible times. We go on with our daily lives the best we can but the world is crumbling. How long can we continue? Sorry for the gibberish, I just am at a breaking point with our world. I want to go screaming through the streets!!!!! King of Kings, Lord of Lords... Please save our children!!!!
