How long do we have until we see mass panic?

Can we please post articles/your best guesses of the timing of economic events this year? I've read fall of this year several places, but what does that really mean? Does it mean things will slowly start to unravel then because the fed can no longer keep up the pretense of saving the day? Does it mean complete chaos, food shortages, a few large companies starting to collapse, massive layoffs...

What does it really mean in practical terms and let's see if we can compile a timeline of when we can expect what based on our best guesses (not based on prophecy, to be clear for our guests out there)...

I don't know about a time line, but I know that I am on the edge of my seat. It would only take a few others to join me for me to go into full fledge panic mode. I know that we are not suppose to, as Christians, but my human side keeps getting in the way. I keep thinking of all the what ifs. What if I loose my job? What if we cannot afford our house? What if we cannot afford food? I know we have the promise of a rapture, but we don't know when. I doubt that I am alone in my feelings, so if I had to guess on a time line I would guess sometime this coming fall.

I dunno. Every time I think "this is it", a recovery in markets occurs. Maybe the Fed really does know what it is doing?:idunno Everyday life seems to be normal here in middle TN. Sooner or later though, this thing is going to tank.

I think we are seeing and will continue to see false assurances for the next few months tops. Remember, this is election season which has the effect of artificially flavoring and coloring all things right now. I am preparing for a very trying winter and leaving it at that.

It is times like these that you sit down and sing Victory in Jesus and relax. You work out a plan for every dime of every paycheck and know that for every need you, yourself can't handle, God will. My husband I just did this and I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders. I now know we have x amount of $ each month to invest in silver, food and savings and if something goes really wrong before I am totally prepared then I know God will provide through other Christians.

I trust my Father in Heaven with all my heart and I believe we are leaving REAL SOON--days not even months!!!!! But I have to tell you that I have one bank account that I have physical access to that I have been withdrawing moderate sums out every few days for the last several weeks.

I have been wondering about this for the past couple of months. When the gas and food started going up again I kept watching to see that people would panic. Here in Southern California JUST THE OPPOSITE HAS HAPPENED!!!!! You should see the traffic on 91--it looks like it has doubled to me. It looks like it should be Christmas or something with all the cars out there--ALL DAY LONG! I don't get it it but I have to thank my Father in Heaven. . . I believe He is keeping the lid on things until we get out of here!

I haven't worked in a year, I have no prospects, I am slowly but surely going through my savings (I also get child support), my car lease is up in a few weeks, BUT I am not scared. I can only attribute it to my faith that what needs to happen will happen. Sure, I get moments where I start to obsess, but considering where I am at, I consider myself richly blessed. I can't explain it except to say that the lack of fear has got to be a gift from God.

Good advice. I've done the same thing--prioritize and do what I can, then let it go. Things are so up in the air for us right now that it is difficult for us to plan for anything, which makes me very nervous because I am a planner. All I can do is trust that the Lord is faithful.

Feeling you on that- here in NE Indiana. I pray for your continued peace in the Lord and His continued will for you. :hug

I've been thinking about doing that...and just "trusting" ever so deeply in Jesus to continue to guide my decisions.

If enough people panic, and start yanking their money out, we are really in trouble. But, I will be taking sums out every week for a little while.

Thanks for the idea !!:hug
