Hi everyone :wave
i was wondering who Saint Michael was & on wikipedia it says he's referred to in Revelation....he's an angel who kicked Lucifer & one third of the angels out of heaven http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifer
i'm wondering - satan was an angel....why would an angel want to overthrow God? how could an angel get 'pride' as it says on the site.
as humans God gave us free will to choose him, which is what he wants for us to love him :thumb arn't angels made to love/worship God? :scratch

To refer to the archangel Michael as a Saint, is incorrect. He cannot be a saint. He was never a sinner saved by grace.
Lucifer was the most beautiful angel that God created. He was Lucifer the light bearer.
When he fell, he took a third of the angels with him and that is where we get the Devil and his demons.
Lucifer has not been banned from heaven just yet, tho, or else how would he have been able to talk to God about sifting Job? Lucifer will be thrown out of heaven right before the Great Tribulation begins.

thanx for replying blessedinhim :)
the only reason i called Michael a Saint was because someone else did, i think Catholics call him a Saint.
i can't believe that Satan is still in heaven :twitch i'm not in heaven & i can talk to God. i'm sure when Satan was saying to God 'if he's tested Job will curse you' (not an exact quote) that he wasn't in heaven with God.
doesn't Satan roam the earth?
just one thing - Satan is Lucifer right? or Lucifer by being thrown out of heaven became Satan.....wait, if he was thrown out how can he not be banned from heaven :scratch

Isaiah 14 (King James Version)
12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
Job 1 (King James Version)
6Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
Revelation 12 (King James Version)
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
