I have had my rotisserie oven for about 10 years (tough thing is still kicking!) and have long since lost the instruction manual. Hubby bought me a nice three pound top round beef roast to cook in it... but i don't know how long i should cook it in the rotiss!

i have no idea, 45 minutes? two hours?:idunno

i am not really sure what the set temp of my oven is, it has no manual temp controll, only the timer.... so i can't even guesstimate time/temp calculations.

i have only ever done chickens and small turkeys in it, and by now i can tell when they are done just by looking at them.

i'd like it about medium rare- so i don't overcook it. i can reheat if underdone....

Please help if anyone can!

:panic

Mine says a roast should be about 18 minutes per pound.

www.ronco.com

This one has their manuals online. At the top it says product manuals. Click that and it lists 2 or 3 rotisserie manuals. I bet all rotisseries are pretty much the same, so it will probably work no matter what brand you have.
