Ancient mysticism and Jesus?

My teens came home with some disturbing talk on how an egyptian God named Horus was where our Christianity came from. Supposedley he was born a virgin he the son of God etc... almost exactly the same except he was written about in 3000 BC. I was wondering can anyone tell me what this is all about? This is so disturbing but this is what they are telling our kids our faith comes from ancient egypt mysticism !

they heard storiesand they preverted it to fit their own flesh. Religions is rooted from Genesis. Remember what God told Adam and Eve after they sinned, so they told their children, and children's children and before you know it, it became corrupted. (same with Noah)
