It is by far the Best cross around, However With jesus right on the cross how come he is not mentioned in any of the teachings of the Catholic Faith? Was Jesus taught years ago and now forgotten?

Because they place more faith in the object than the Creator of all things.

Are nyou sure that is a crucifix in the Catholic Church. Consider this tale before you answer.

A youn lad in public school was doing very poorly in math. He just did not care and would not apply himself. His parents, in desperation, enrolled him in the local Catholic school hoping the no nonsense methods of the nuns would help him get his grades up at least to passing. No sooner was he enrolled than he started spending much more time on his homework and come time for his first report card he had an A+ in math. His parents were pleasantly surprised and asked him just what made the difference. He replied that on his first day there he saw that guy nailed to the plus sign and KNEW THEY MEANT BUSINESS!!!

I'm lost on what you're trying to say here. :scratch

It is just a joke about a boy who misunderstood what the crucifix really was.

Protestant faith don't feature Christ on the cross because it is too close to idolatry. One of the main complaints of the Reformation was that Catholics had lost sight of the "representational" characteristics of statues/images/sculptures and were worshipping those things themselves, as well as bizarre things like "saint's relics."

However With jesus right on the cross how come he is not mentioned in any of the teachings of the Catholic Faith? Was Jesus taught years ago and now forgotten?

I don't understand what you mean. The Catholics have some stuff - ok, a LOT wrong, but they certainly do worship Jesus Christ; they believe in the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost, their Bible features the Gospels. We may know their interpretation to be skewed, but I don't know how in the world you could think they've "forgotten" Jesus or don't feature him prominently in their faith.

Mary on the cross? Co-redeemer and advocate? They missed the real purpose of the cross.

Even if you stick to the "Jesus on the cross" examples found in the Catholic Churches and eliminate the "Mary on the cross" ones, I think it's safe to say they often forget about - or downplay -the resurrection. They continually focus on the sacrifice itself, kind of like they are stuck there. Remember, their belief is that during the Mass, Jesus' sacrifice happens all over again...when it fact "it is finished."

There is no specific description of Jesus' physical characteristics in the bible.
Any image or statue picturing Jesus must be a lie and an abomination due to that.
Even if there was a description of Jesus, the bible says that Jesus' image was marred more than any other man from His sufferings on the cross, which the RCC does not depict as as they continue in their invented lies.

Any large Roman church would give most of the former pagan temples a run for the money on the appearance of being a very pagan place of idolatry.
Statues, candles, vestments, worldly grandeur etc.
St. Peters in Rome has them all beat I would bet. I could just picture Samson pulling those massive St. Peter pillars down in the temple of Dagon.
