JERUSALEM - Pastor John Hagee has announced donations of 6 million dollars to Israeli causes, while insisting that Israel must remain in control of all of Jerusalem.

Hagee is a Christian Zionist whose endorsement of presidential candidate John McCain drew attention to his past criticism of the Catholic Church.

He brought hundreds of backers on a solidarity trip to Israel. Hagee and his group, Christians United for Israel, joined keynote speaker Benjamin Netanyahu at a rally in support of Jerusalem remaining united and under Jewish control. Netanyahu heads Israel's opposition Likud Party.

Hagee told the crowd, "Turning part or all of Jerusalem over to the Palestinians would be tantamount to turning it over to the Taliban."

We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel and defend God's nation. It is written in the Word is it not?

That's good, but he's now claiming that Jesus didn't come to earth to be the Messiah. Now, am I missing something scripturally or has Pastor Hagee gone off the reservation???

I am very happy that he raised six million for Israel. Not happy though as to how he preaches the prosperity message to get the six million from little old seniors watching him on tv. And yes, he has definitely left the reservation.:tsk

I used to really like his preaching way back when. Also love that he supports Israel. But his false doctrine is a tad bit too much for me. I never listen to him anymore.

I have a request...if we're going to claim Pastor Hagee 'left the reservation' (a term some might just take offence at - could have found a better analogy) could we please study this claim frame by frame please. Easy to say it but show me the proof. I have always admired his preaching and would like to hear the proof. Give us a lauch point with some doctrinal point please. Thanks!!
