Volume Remains Heavy and High

"I’ve just been informed that Mountain House is expecting their ship times to exceed 12 weeks by the end of April for #10 cans. They are receiving huge quantities of orders from the US Government and will now start limiting their #10 can production.
Existing orders are still taking 4 - 6 weeks from Mountain House, so nobody panic. I expect to fill all of our year units, and the 60 day units within the next 30 days or less.
I saw this one coming a mile away. This means that you and I (the little people) will start seeing less and less availability for food stuffs and longer and longer ship times.
My efforts to reduce order volume were just in the nick of time, but it’s not working too well. Volume remains heavy and high. I will buy as much stock as I can, but I strongly suspect that this will be “it” for sometime to come (probably forever).
I’ve been very busy filling our back orders for Mountain House stock. I am now shipping mid-March orders for SINGLE can shipments (orders I ship from here), please check your email for information and tracking numbers. If you have ordered case quantity Mountain House items, these ship from Mountain House directly (read the shipping times page for current times).
We are totally sold out of several items and do not expect any more of these for at least 30 days (Oriental Spicy Chicken and now, Chicken Ala King). Substitutions are being offered from available stock I have on the shelf.
Email is PREFERRED. It’s the only way I can get anything done right now and blocked calls from callers is still a major problem. If you don’t hear from me, this is probably what’s going on. "
